Ingredients (Serves 4)

Gongura Leaves Main

Gongura Leaves

3 cups chopped fresh gongura leaves

Tempering Tempering

Spices & Oil

10 dried red chilies, 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp methi, salt

Garlic Flavor

Garlic & Tamarind

6 garlic cloves, small tamarind ball

Step-by-Step Recipe

15-minute easy recipe

Sauté Leaves

Heat oil, fry methi seeds till brown. Add gongura leaves, sauté 5-7 mins till wilted & water evaporates.

Grind Coarsely

Cool sautéed leaves. Grind with red chilies, tamarind, garlic, salt to coarse paste. Don't make smooth!

Temper

Heat oil, fry crushed garlic till golden. Add ground chutney, mix 2 mins till oil separates.

Serve

Cool & store. Serve with hot rice & ghee!
