Sultanpur National Park & Bird Sanctuary (143.25 hectares) established 1989 near Gurugram. Important Bird Area (IBA) hosting 250+ species including 190+ migratory from Siberia/Europe/Central Asia. Salim Ali Bird Hide provides excellent observation. Walking trails through wetlands, grasslands & scrub forest. Peak season Oct-Mar. Entry: Rs 40/adult. Best for photography/nature lovers.

Key Facts: Discovered by Peter Jackson (1930s). Managed by Haryana Forest Dept. Ramsar site candidate. Hosts endangered species like Imperial Eagle, Pallid Harrier, Greater Spotted Eagle.

Access: 40km from Delhi Airport, 15km from Gurugram. Well-connected by road.

Winter migrants: Siberian Crane, Bar-headed Goose, Northern Pintail, Grey Lag Goose. Residents: Sarus Crane, Painted Stork, Black-necked Stork. Salim Ali Hide (best viewing), nature trails, photography. Guided tours available. No vehicles inside sanctuary.
